We set goals early of the year on what we want to achieve. Let it be from weight loss, change jobs, get married, make more money and lots more. Here are 5 ways to make sure that the goals we set are embedded in our head and hence make us commit to achieving it.
1) Write you goals on a piece of paper. Write it on a cardboard for that matter. Stick it where you can see it everyday. Make sure you are able to see it. Refer to it everyday. You need your goals to be embedded in you head before you go out of your room. Let it be your motivation.
2) Read your goals that you wrote out loud. You don't have to shout. Just read it so that you are able to hear your own voice. This will strengthen the will power.
3) Set goals with time constrains for example, I want to earn $5000 by the end of the week. I want to open up my own bakery shop by the end of the month. Put in the date if you have to. Be more specific if you can. Do not be vague in setting your goals. Be specific!
4) Break your goals in achievable targets. Really plan how to get your targets. Be it a daily plan, weekly plan and a monthly plan. Just make sure you plan ahead. Write that down in a checklist format so that you can tick it out when it's done. It will really help when you write stuff down.
5) Visualize yourself getting to your goal. Visualize yourself achieving that goal. You need to be really in-tune with it. You have to put your emotions into it. Visualize it in a way that you have already got it!! It will definitely push you to the next level!
These are just 5 ways to get yourself to commit to your goals. There are a lot more ways to do it. This is my personal favorite. Hope it helps. Peace out.
